Organization of Research

After having spent some time sampling articles within the realm of herpetology I've come up with the following organization scheme for research as it relates to stewardship.

Note that, from a stewardship perspective, this all begins with appreciating some interaction moving from amphibians and reptiles (or some functional group subset) to the greater world that relates back to some fundamental value. Once this "value proposition" has been identified, we then flow through the rest of this chart to gather all of the information necessary to (as a first goal) be able to simulate and predict on that value proposition, and then eventually turn that into management plans.

This then means that as a first step we can pick a particular interaction and the flow out from there, rather than trying to establish completeness at the top of this graph immediately. I believe this is the approach I will take to limit scope.
